Patna : Senior IPS Rajwinder Singh Bhatti appointed new Bihar DGP. He will replace SK Singhal. Singhal’s term ends on December 19. RS Bhatti’s tenure will be till 30 September 2025.
A notification in this regard has been issued by the Home Department of the Government of Bihar on Sunday.He is a 1990 batch IPS and is currently on central deputation. RS Bhatti is a resident of Punjab.
The tenure of Bihar’s DGP SK Singhal will end on Monday. Now Rajwinder Bhatti was earlier posted as the ADG of the Border Security Force (BSF) Eastern Command.
