A person has been arrested from Assam in connection with the fake video of Union Home Minister Amit Shah against reservation. This information was given by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on social media.
The Assam chief Minister told on x that Assam Police has arrested a person named Reetom Singh. Police say that the person is being questioned. BJP has lodged its complaint against the video.
On Sunday, the Delhi Police Special Cell has registered an FIR against those who posted the fake video of Shah on social media. According to media reports, the Home Ministry has taken the matter seriously. The Special Cell is keeping an eye on those accounts who are posting this video. Those who deleted the video are also on the radar of the investigating agencies.
BJP has also filed a complaint against this video. In the complaint, BJP said that Amit Shah has not said anything about ending SC-ST and OBC reservation. The viral video is completely fake. His video is being tampered.
