BJP will win more than 30 seats in Bengal : Khagen Murmu
Malda : BJP will win more than 30 seats in Bengal under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. BJP candidate from Malda North Lok Sabha in West Bengal, Khagen Murmu has claimed this during an interview.
In an exclusive conversation with the ‘United Bulletin‘, Murmu said that there was a wave for PM Modi in 2019 and people saw BJP as an alternative to Trinamool and we won 18 seats. This time too, with the immense support received in all parts of the state, BJP’s victory seems certain on about 30 Lok Sabha seats.
The senior BJP leader said that Trinamool has not done anything in the name of development in the state. Hooliganism, loot and murders have been so far increased in the state. Therefore, this time the people of Bengal have resolved to vote for BJP for the safety of their family and better future.
On the question of development of Malda North, he said that I worked on many schemes for this area and also made many other efforts, but did not get any cooperation from the state government. I have raised the demand for airport and Navodaya school in the Parliament so that all Dalit, tribal students can get better education.
It is worth noting that in the third phase, voting is scheduled on May 7 on a total of 4 seats including Malda North. BJP leader Khagen Murmu represents Malda North parliamentary constituency, he is contesting against TMC’s Prasun Banerjee and Congress’ Mustaq Alam.
