After ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra, the Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to lead a new journey from Manipur to Mumbai’ named as Bharat Nyay Yatra. It is scheduled to start on 14 January. Ahead of Lok Sabha elections, this Yatra seemed to be an important strategy from the Congress point of view. Congress leaders Jairam Ramesh informed this in a press conference.

The 6,200 km yatra cross 14 states and 85 district including Assam, West Bengal, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat will end in Mumbai on 20 March 2024. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge will flag off this visit.

Apart from this, on the occasion of Congress’s foundation day on 28th December, the party will hold a mega rally in Nagpur. Its name is- Hai taiyaar hum. This mega rally will sound the alarm for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

Jairam Ramesh said that Rahul Gandhi raised three issues during the Bharat Jodo Yatra. He raised the issue of economic inequality, raised voice against social polarization and made people aware about the political dictatorship that has become the reality of the country today. That journey was not to express one’s feelings but was for the public’s concern. Rahul Gandhi had heard the problems of the people during the visit.

The Bharat Nyay Yatra that is going to start now is for economic justice, for social justice and for political justice. Its objective is to save democracy, to save the Constitution, and to instill confidence in a bright future among the crores of families suffering from inflation and unemployment.

The first Bharat Jodo Yatra was undertaken to connect India. Now Bharat Nyaya Yatra is to assure the people on behalf of the Congress Party, on behalf of Rahul Gandhi, that the Congress Party is committed to ensure that economic justice, social justice and political justice are fully available to the common people, he added.
