Ayodhya Railway Station To Be Known As ‘Ayodhya Dham’

The name of Ayodhya railway station has now been changed to Ayodhya Dham. Railways issued orders to change the name of the station late on Wednesday evening. This decision has been taken after Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had expressed his desire to name the station Ayodhya Dham during the inspection two days ago.

In a social media post, Member of Parliament Lallu Singh thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav. Now Ayodhya Junction will be known as Ayodhya Dham Junction. On December 30, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the new building of Ayodhya Dham Junction Railway Station.

The station has been built on the lines of Ram Mandir model. The work of doubling the railway line from Ayodhya to Barabanki and Jaunpur is also going on at a fast pace. The number of platforms in Ayodhya Dham railway station has been increased to 6. In the first phase of work, the station building is ready. In the second phase, a station building is to be constructed on the other side of the station also. Both the buildings will be connected to each other through a slide.

PM Narendra Modi will inaugurate Ayodhya Dham railway station on December 30 in Ayodhya. Ayodhya Dham railway station is ready and will be opened for common devotees from January 1. PM Modi will flag off Vande Bharat and Amrit Bharat trains from Ayodhya Dham railway station itself. Apart from this, PM Modi will also inaugurate Shri Ram International Airport.
