PM Modi announces Rs 100 cut in LPG Price on women’s day
LPG Price : On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given a big gift to the people of the country. He announced that women will be given a discount of Rs 100 on domestic gas cylinders.
PM Narendra Modi tweeted, “Today, on Women’s Day, our Government has decided to reduce LPG cylinder prices by Rs. 100. This will significantly ease the financial burden on millions of households across the country, especially benefiting our Nari Shakti.
By making cooking gas more affordable, we also aim to support the well-being of families and ensure a healthier environment. This is in line with our commitment to empowering women and ensuring ‘Ease of Living’ for them.
The Union Cabinet, which met yesterday chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, approved the extension of subsidy of Rs 300 per 14.2 kg cylinder up to 12 refills per year for the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) for the financial year 2024-25. .
