PM Modi announces 11-day Anusthan ahead of Pran Pratishtha ceremony

New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also going to perform (Anusthan) rituals for the pran pratishtha consecration program of Ram Lala in the Ram temple to be held in Ayodhya on January 22. He started this special ritual just 11 days before this program.

The PM said that he is fortunate to be a witness to this auspicious occasion. The consecration of the grand Ram temple being built in Ayodhya is going to happen on January 22. Now only 11 days are left in this. Preparations are going on in Ayodhya regarding Pran Pratistha.

Posting on Twitter, PM Modi wrote, ‘Only 11 days are left for the consecration of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya. It is my good fortune that I too will witness this auspicious occasion. The Lord has given me the opportunity to represent all Indians during the consecration. Keeping this in mind, I am starting a special ritual of 11 days from today. I seek blessings from all of you, the public. At this time, it is very difficult to express my feelings in words, But I have made an effort from my side.’

Earlier, while addressing a rally in Ayodhya, PM Modi had appealed to the people of the country to celebrate Diwali in their houses on January 22 when the Ram Temple would be consecrated, adding that they should visit Ayodhya as per their convenience starting January 23.

The Vedic rituals will begin on January 16, a week before the main ceremony. Lakshmi Kant Dixit, a priest from Varanasi, will perform the main ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony. More than a lakh devotees are expected to descend on the temple town on the occasion of ‘pran pratishtha’ on January 22.

Several political leaders, industrialists, sportsmen, and celebrities have been invited to the consecration ceremony of Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22. PM Modi will attend the Pran Pratishta ceremony in Ayodhya Uttar Pradesh.
