Central government announces half day holiday on 22 January

New Delhi : Central Government has announced half-day closing till 2:30 pm on 22nd January 2024, at all Central Government offices, Central institutions & Central industrial establishments throughout India on the occasion of Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha.

The order says, the Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha at Ayodhya will be celebrated on 22nd January, 2024 across India. To enable employees to participate in the celebrations, it has been decided that all Central Government Offices, Central Institutions and Central Industrial Establishments throughout India will be closed for half day till 1430 hours on 22nd January, 2024. 

Indian Govt said the decision on the half-day closure of the office has been taken in view of the overwhelming sentiments. As per the order, it is also advised that all Ministries/Departments of Government of India may bring the above decision to the notice of all concerned.

The Pran Pratishtha ceremony will be organized in Ayodhya on 22 January. Many other leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in this program. Many Renowned personalities and celebrities have also been invited to the ceremony.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will perform rituals on the occasion of consecration of the idol of Ram Lalla in the grand temple on January 22. A team of priests under the leadership of Laxmikant Dixit will perform the main ritual of consecration of Ram Lalla on January 22.
