Xiaomi Redmi 12 Announced : know about Specs, Features and Price : Smartphone brand Xiaomi Redmi has launched its new affordable phone Redmi 12 on Friday. The phone is currently made available in Thailand. The new smartphone has been introduced in three RAM options and three color options. The phone has been introduced in three color options Midnight Black, Polar Silver and Sky Blue shades. The phone is priced at THB 5,299 (roughly Rs. 12,500) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. However, the price of the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant has not been revealed yet. No information has been given so far about the availability and price of Redmi 12 in other markets including India.

Redmi 12 comes with dual-sim slot and Android 13 based MIUI 14. The phone has a 6.79-inch full-HD Plus display with 1500: 1 contrast ratio and 90Hz refresh rate. Along with the display’s (1,080X2,460 pixels) resolution, the SGS Low Blue Light certified panel offers 70 percent coverage of the NTSC color gamut and 550 mits of peak brightness. The phone has support for MediaTek Helio G88 processor and LPDDR4X RAM up to 8GB. RAM can be increased virtually up to 16 GB.

12AI-supported triple rear camera setup is available in the phone. The phone has a 50-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. For selfie, an 8-megapixel selfie camera is available in the phone.

The Redmi 12 packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. Regarding the battery, the company claims that it gets up to 37 hours of talk time, up to 23 days of standby time and up to 26 hours of reading time on a single charge. IP53 rating is available for dust and water resistant in the phone.
