Pran Pratishtha Ceremony : The ritual of consecration ceremony of Ramlala has been completed in the Ram temple of Ayodhya. Lord Shri Ram has been seen for the first time. The long-awaited consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla took place on Monday in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and other dignitaries.

After the conclusion of the ceremony, PM Narendra Modi paid ‘dandavat pranam’ to Lord Ram Lala at the Ram temple in Ayodhya. PM Modi broke his fast after consecration and drank water from the hands of Swami Govinddev. He was fasting for 11 days. During the consecration, army helicopters showered flowers on the temple premises.

Ramlala idol is in pitambar clothes with a crown on his forehead, a gold bow and arrow in his hand. Tilak was applied on the forehead. The pictures of Bal Ram are really captivating. The idol was installed in the temple withtilak on the forehead, golden crown and all the rituals.

Earlier PM Modi started the rituals amid chanting of mantras by pundits. During the Pran Pratistha ritual, PM Modi was wearing a cream colored dhoti and golden kurta with patka. After this the Prime Minister took a ‘resolution’ for the inauguration ceremony. Before that, when PM Modi reached Ram temple, he had a silver umbrella in his hand. Dressed in golden clothes, PM Modi had a red tilak on his forehead. There was a red colored chunri in her hand.

For the consecration of Ram Lalla, Prime Minister Modi followed strict 11-day ‘rituals’ and slept on the floor and drank coconut water before the ceremony. He visited several temples across India and took a holy dip at the Rameshwaram ‘Angi Teertha’ beach before the ‘Pran-Pratishtha’ ceremony of the Ram temple.
