Mukherjee Nagar Fire : Students rescued after fire breaks out at coaching centre : A fire broke out at a coaching institute in Delhi’s Mukherjee Nagar area on Thursday and students had to risk their lives to get out from windows. Due to only one staircase in the building the students had to jump down by through ropes.

As soon as the incident was reported, the fire department was informed, after which 11 vehicles reached the spot and got involved in relief and rescue work. However, the fire has now been brought under control and an injured students has been rushed to the hospital. Firefighters with the help of the local people have rescued all the youths trapped in the building.

The fire started in the meter of the building. The smoke spread to the upper floors, causing panic. There was a coaching center for civil services, some students were trying to come down from the window. 3-4 students have been injured in this. He has been taken to the hospital. The fire has been brought under control, said Delhi Police PRO.
