UGC-NET May 2021 exams postponed

New Delhi: UGC NET exam conducted by National testing Agency scheduled to begin on May 2 has been postponed. The new dates, as per the NTA, will be released at least 15 days ahead of the exam. The Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank announced in a tweet.

“Looking at the present situation of COVID-19 pandemic and taking into account safety and well-being of candidates and examination functionaries, it has been decided to postpone the UGC NET 2020 cycle (May 2021) examination,” the National Testing Agency (NTA) said in an official notice.

The UGC NET is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of the University Grants Commission (UGC) for determining the eligibility of Assistant Professors in universities and for awarding Junior Research Fellowship (JRF).
