PM Modi  congratulates Team ISRO for successful launch of Solar Mission

New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated scientists and engineers of ISRO for the successful launch of India’s first Solar Mission, Aditya -L1.

Taking to the micro-blogging site X the Prime Minister said; “After the success of Chandrayaan-3, India continues its space journey. Congratulations to our scientists and engineers at @isro for the successful launch of India’s first Solar Mission, Aditya -L1. Our tireless scientific efforts will continue in order to develop better understanding of the Universe for the welfare of entire humanity.”

President Drapaudi Murmu also congratulated Team of ISRO, In a X Post she said, “The launch of Aditya-L1, India’s first solar Mission, is a landmark achievement that takes India’s indigenous space programme to a new trajectory. It will help us better understand space and celestial phenomena. I congratulate the scientists and engineers at Isro for this exceptional feat. My best wishes for the success of the mission,”

Earlier, ISRO’s spacecraft was succesfully launched from Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota on Saturday. The launch took place at 11:50 am from Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota today. India has now inched one step closer for the completion of its maiden Solar expedition. ISRO’s trusted PSLV will carry the Aditya L1 mission on a 125-day voyage to the Sun.
