PM Modi arrives in Trichy, offers prayer at Ranganathaswamy Temple

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting various temples of the country before the Ram Mandir Pran Pratistha ceremony. In this context, today he reached Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple in Trichy, Tamil Nadu and performed darshan and worship.

Before the Pran Pratistha ceremony on January 22, the Prime Minister is visiting those temples which are mentioned in Ramayana. During his visits to temples, PM Modi participates in Ramayana recitation programs in the languages of the region such as Marathi, Malayalam and Telugu.

The Prime Minister will reach Rameshwaram at around 2 pm and will offer darshan and worship at Sri Arulmigu Ramanathaswamy Temple. The next day on January 21, he will visit and worship at the Kothandaramaswami temple in Dhanushkodi. The PMO said Prime Minister Arichal Munai will also visit Dhanushkodi, which is said to be the place where Ram Setu was constructed.
