New Delhi : Senior IAS Navneet Sehgal has been appointed as the Chairman of Prasar Bharati by the Government of India. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has issued a formal order for this and has given this information by sharing a letter.
Navneet Sehgal is a famous IAS officer of UP and he retired last year. 1988 batch officer, has worked in the core group of Mayawati, Akhilesh Yadav and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. No matter whose government it was, Sehgal remained influential in every government.
Sehgal has vast experience of working with many Chief Ministers with expertise in the Information and Public Relations Department. The Government of India entrusted him with a big responsibility related to the same.
