“Swami Vivekanand cancer Asptal’s “convenor and trustee Arvind Pathak on Monday submitted a memorandum to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President Ramnath kovind and Union Minister of State for Health Ashwini Choubey asking a special grant of 200 crores for the cancer hospital in Mithilanchal Darbhanga Bihar.

The hospital is looking forward to ensuring facility for attendants of patients so that cancer patients get proper care and services but due to the shortage of resources hospital management is unable to provide such facilities, said Pathak.

He also said, ‘Bihar government has made many plans for the treatment of cancer patients but right now these plans are proposed only. Union Minister of State for Health, Shri Ashvini Choubey and Health Minister of Bihar Government, Mangal Pandey were also present on the occasion of the inauguration of the hospital.  Millions of people had expected that the government would announce a special fund to this institute, but nothing has happened. This led to disappointment in people of Mithilanchal’, Arvind Pathak added.
