Loksabha Polls 2024 : Union Minister and BJP candidate Smriti Irani filed her nomination papers from Amethi Lok Sabha for the third consecutive time. After a road show with a crowd of thousands, the MP’s convoy reached the Collectorate.
She filed her nomination paper in the presence of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav. During this, many other BJP leaders including her husband Zubin Irani were also present.
While talking to media after filing nomination, Smriti Irani said that she has filed nomination today to serve Amethi. I hope that the public will give their blessings to Prime Minister Modi and BJPfor the third time.
For the third time, BJP has fielded Smriti Irani from Amethi seat. She contested the election for the first time in 2014 and lost to Rahul Gandhi. After this, in 2019, she defeated Rahul Gandhi and made the lotus bloom on this seat. Once again the party has expressed confidence in her.
