UGC NET 2025 : Apply before May 7, Check Eligibility, Exam Dates

UGC NET 2025 : The application process for UGC NET June has started. This exam is conducted to determine eligibility for Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship across the country. The National Testing Agency has released its notification. Interested candidates can apply online by visiting ugcnet.nta.ac.in. The last date for application is 7 May till 11:59 pm. The last date for fee submission is 8 May.

UGC-NET will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode in 85 subjects. The first paper will be of General Aptitude. It will have 50 questions of 100 marks. The second paper will be based on the selected subject, which will have 100 questions of 200 marks. The paper will be of 3 hours. There will be no negative marking in it.

UGC NET exam is conducted to make one eligible for Assistant Professor/Lecturer posts. National Testing Agency conducts the exam for UGC NET or JRF in online mode. UGC NET exam is conducted twice every year. December and June session. The application form is released a few months before this.

How to apply form for UGC NET 2025

Click on the UGC NET 2025 registration link available on the homepage

Fill the online UGC NET registration form 2025 with basic details like personal and contact.

Choose a password and click on the submit button.

After completion of the UGC NET 2025 registration form, the registration number will be sent to the candidate’s registered mobile number and email ID.

Fill in the educational details, select exam centres, select subjects and enter all other asked details in the UGC NET 2025 application form and complete the application process.

Upload scanned recent photograph and signature in a specified format.

Pay the required application fee in online mode through debit or credit card or net banking.

Download the confirmation page and take a printout.
